The Zillertal valley offers
first class winter sports. Skiing up to 3.250 m above sea level will make
the heart of every winter sports fan beat faster. Sunny slopes and downhill
runs of a total length of 589 km for every level of difficulty as well as
cosy mountain huts make a day full of sports in the snow sheer delight.

From 630 m you can ascend with the
most modern cable cars to 3.250 m on the Hintertuxer glacier, which offers
100 % of snow guaranteed by ecological artificial snow plants. Furthermore
there are about 17 tobaggan runs with a total length of 50 km and more than
200 km of cross-country trails on offer. 400 km of well kept and snow cleared
winter hiking paths are waiting for all the less athletic winter enthusiasts. |
